I believe open source works best when everyone who wants to contribute finds a way in, and when the people who make it happen are seen and celebrated. That is what full stack community organizing means to me: working on every area that helps a community thrive, from the code and the tools, through processes and communication, to the events where people meet in person.
I see my job as creating possibilities. A well run event puts the right people in one room and gives them a reason to collaborate. A good tool takes the tedious parts out of hard jobs, like a major version upgrade or translating a site, and leaves time for producing real value. Clear communication helps people see where they fit in. I work in all these areas, so more people can contribute and the community can grow.
In 2016 I received the Aaron Winborn Award, given to individuals who demonstrates personal integrity, kindness, and above-and-beyond commitment to the Drupal community.
I am a principal community product manager at Acquia, working with and on the Drupal project itself. I am Drupal CMS' contribution coordinator, a Drupal core product manager and core initiative facilitator, and I work on communication and major and minor release announcements for the Drupal core team.
I used to be the Drupal 8 multilingual initiative lead, where more than 1300 people improved Drupal's multilingual features together, and have been the release manager of Drupal 6.
Before Drupal, I was the lead for the PHP.net website itself and the global lead of the PHP documentation itself.
In Hungary, I was a co-lead organizer of Web Konferencia and PHP Konferencia, a web developer trainer at Pentaschool, and an editor and co-author of multiple web developer books at Kiskapu Kiadó and Pentaschool. I co-founded Weblabor.hu, a Hungarian web development community.
I am a computer science major from the Budapest Technical University, where I wrote my thesis on open source multilingual tooling.

I am a co-founder of a small nationally accredited private primary school in Hungary, Zenit Általános Iskola.
My passion for singing, musicals and amateur acting brought me on stage when I was about 8 years old. While I never received formal education in the field I played lead roles in countless productions and recently gone back on stage again in my sparse free time.
Since 2007, Acquia has been employing me to do a large portion of this open source work. This enabled me to use some of my free time too to do even more. I'm incredibly proud to be part of a team that does so much for this ecosystem. Seriously.
